Diagnostics
Every eye is unique, and by combining these advanced diagnostics, we partner with you to identify the cause of your symptoms and create a customized treatment plan designed for long-term management.
Corneal Topography
This creates a detailed map of the front surface of the eye. By reflecting light off the cornea, it measures the curvature and shape to detect surface irregularities and is the primary tool used for the precise fitting of specialty contact lenses.
Ocular Photography
High-definition digital imaging is used to document the physical appearance of the eye’s external and internal structures. These photos serve as a permanent visual baseline to monitor changes in redness, lesions, or disease progression over time.
Optical Biometry
An incredibly accurate, non-contact method used to measure the physical dimensions of the eye, such as its length and curvature. This data is vital for monitoring eye health and is the gold standard for calculating the power of intraocular lenses.
Vital Dyes
Special dyes are placed on the eye to view damaged cells on the cornea, conjunctiva, and lid margin. This aids in diagnosis and helps to visualize the current status of your ocular surface.
Corneal Tomography
This provides a complete 3D reconstruction of the entire cornea, including the front surface, the back surface, and the total thickness (pachymetry). This allows for a deeper analysis of the eye's structural integrity and can detect early signs of disease on the back surface that topography alone might mis
Total Eye Aberrometry
This diagnostic measures how light waves are distorted as they pass through your entire visual system. By identifying subtle imperfections, or "aberrations," we can better understand the unique "fingerprint" of your vision and why you may experience glare or halos.
Miebography
Infrared imaging of the Meibomian glands is similar to an X-Ray or a CT scan. It gives real-time information on the structure of the glands. This helps identify if the glands are being compromised.
Anterior Segment OCT
Utilizing light waves to capture high-resolution, cross-sectional images, this scan allows us to see beneath the surface of the eye. It provides microscopic measurements of the cornea’s thickness and the eye's internal drainage angles without ever touching the eye.
Scleral Profilometry
This specialized mapping technology measures the unique, often asymmetrical shape of the sclera (the white part of the eye). This allows for the design of highly customized scleral contact lenses that vault the cornea for maximum comfort and clarity.
Noninvasive Tear Break-up Time
This evaluates the stability of your tear film. A grid or concentric ring pattern is projected onto the cornea and the patient is asked to blink. The rings will appear distorted when the cornea becomes dry.
Treatments

Orthokeratology
These specialized rigid gas permeable lenses are worn during sleep to temporarily reshape the corneal curvature. This process facilitates clear vision during waking hours without the requirement for spectacles or daytime contact lenses, offering a non-surgical alternative for active patients or those requiring myopia progression control.
Prosthetic / Cosmetic Lenses
Custom-designed lenses are utilized to restore the physiological appearance of an eye affected by trauma, disease, or congenital conditions. Beyond aesthetic restoration, these lenses provide functional benefits by reducing photophobia and managing light transmission in cases of iris irregularities.
Dry Eye Therapies
These clinical interventions are designed to address the underlying pathophysiology of tear film instability. Options include in-office procedures such as Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and thermal pulsation, as well as prescription therapeutics aimed at restoring ocular surface homeostasis and providing sustained symptomatic relief.
Scleral Lenses
These large-diameter lenses are engineered to vault the entire corneal surface and rest on the sclera. By maintaining a continuous fluid reservoir between the lens and the ocular surface, they provide superior comfort and visual rehabilitation for patients with irregular corneas, keratoconus, or advanced ocular surface disease.
Myopia Management
Myopia is a progressive condition characterized by the axial elongation of the eye. Our management programs utilize specialized contact lenses and pharmacological interventions to slow this progression in pediatric patients, significantly reducing the long-term risk of sight-threatening complications.
Nutraceuticals
Evidence-based nutritional supplements are often indicated to support long-term ocular health. We recommend specific formulations, such as high-concentration Omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants, which are clinically shown to support the lipid layer of the tear film and reduce inflammation affecting the ocular surface.
Corneal RGP Lenses
Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP) lenses are durable, high-oxygen permeable lenses that maintain their structural integrity better than traditional soft contact lenses. By providing a uniform optical surface, they offer superior visual acuity for patients with high astigmatism or corneal irregularities that cannot be fully corrected with standard lenses.
Corneal Collagen Cross-linking (CXL)
This procedure is utilized to increase the structural rigidity of a cornea weakened by ectatic conditions such as keratoconus. Through the application of riboflavin followed by controlled ultraviolet light, new molecular bonds are formed within the corneal stroma to stabilize the eye and prevent further disease progression.
